More Qi2.2 accessories are showing up with about 25W wireless charging and magnetic alignment in the MagSafe spirit. CES already previewed trays of them. Now they trickle into shops.
This is undramatic tech, which is why it matters. Daily charging is where most people meet standards.
What 25W changes
Wireless stops feeling like a slow novelty pad. Magnets cut the "phone sat wrong and charged at 3W" failure. Travel kits get simpler if phone and earbuds share the same snap language.
What to check before you buy
Real wattage with your phone model. Heat. Whether the case is compatible. Cable quality to the puck. Marketing loves the number 25. Thermals decide if you get it.
Qi2.2 will not make headlines like foldables. It will quietly remove one annoyance from the nightstand. That is enough for a June note.
Wireless only wins when desk clutter falls and heat stays tolerable. Check sustained charge speed on your phone, not the peak number on the slide. If a cable is still faster every morning, Qi2.2 is optional, not mandatory.
