UX STRATEGY
UX strategy is a term which aim is to conjure a positive experience of a user in a given area of products/websites or projects. The term UX - "user experience" itself is strongly connected with projecting computer interface ergonomy called HCI (human-computer-interaction). UX has became also a powerful field of marketing and IT.
First "architect" of user experience was Don Norman who gave this title to himself in 1993 when he started working in Apple Computers. Experts in the field of user experience appeared in mid 90s in tech companies.
In 2000 the term user experience started to be associated with the knowledge of creating useful and satisfying texts for websites' visitors.
According to the definition of Don Norman and Jacob Nielsen UX "encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction with the company, its services, and its products."
The most desireable purpose of UX strategy is to:
- live up to customers' expectations
- description of a product needs to be elegant and simple
- achieve high-quality user experience by mixing disciplines such as marketing, including engineering, marketing, graphical and industrial design, and interface design.
